A New Food Festival Is Coming to Puerto Rico, With Help From Some MLB Stars

By: Dana Niland - November 12, 2024

Puerto Rico has a new food festival coming next year, and it’s getting a quintessentially Puerto Rican kickoff.

The island is hosting a “Taste of the Big League” event to launch the festival next week, featuring some of the island’s biggest baseball stars, from Carlos Beltran to Carlos Delgado and Alex Cora, among others.

The kickoff will be held at the La Concha Resort in San Juan on Nov. 20, hosted by probably our favorite chef on the island: Mario Pagan. It’s a big event for La Concha, which has been in the process of a major renovation project.

You can find more information on tickets here.

The inaugural edition of the festival will take place in April 2025, with a slate of top local chefs, sommeliers, cocktail crafters and gourmet experiences.
