There’s a Secret Resort at Nassau’s Baha Mar With a Private Lobby, Huge Suites and Butler Service
We’ve said before: Nassau’s Baha Mar is fantastic. No matter what kind of vacation you’re looking for, it has you covered, whether you’re looking for a classic beach vacation, a gaming trip, a group retreat, a golf getaway, a wellness experience, well, you get the point. We call it the “art of everything.”
When you choose your resort, there are three to select from: the luxe Rosewood, the all-encompassing Grand Hyatt, and the fun, hip SLS Baha Mar.
But you may not realize that there is actually a fourth resort, and it’s the best-kept secret at the Baha Mar: it’s called the Reserve at Grand Hyatt Baha Mar, and it’s a resort-within-a-resort concept that takes everything up a notch — and makes for a wonderfully private, luxurious and comfortable option at the Cable Beach resort.
So what exactly is The Reserve?
Well, it’s a collection of elevated suites, ones that come with a separate, private entrance, a dedicated check-in and upgraded amenities.
You also get butler service and a fabulous lobby lounge (with snacks and refreshments all day, including a cocktail hour).
The service on our recent stay at the resort was, in a word, impeccable. We loved the private lobby lounge, from its free espresso to the lovely canapés.
And while you feel like you’re in a special oasis (and you are), you’re in a terrific location just off the main floor of the casino.
It’s pretty hard to beat, for its list of amenities but also for its value.
For example, if you book a room in mid-November you can get it for $585 per night — impressive considering you’re getting a one-bedroom, 920-square-foot fountain-view suite, with a private soaking tub and even a second half bathroom.
It’s just another example of the way this resort continues to deliver. (Of course, it will soon be one of five, not four resorts at the Baha Mar, thanks to a new project the resort just announced).
