There’s a New Way to Travel Between Grenada and Guyana
Another day, another new route within the Caribbean. As the intra-regional aviation market continues its renaissance, Turks and Caicos-based interCaribbean just added a new route.
The region’s newest flight will connect Grenada and Guyana, with twice-weekly service between Grenada and Guyana.
That will include service on Thursdays and Sundays, with flights operated on one of interCaribbean’s Embraer 145 jets.
It’s a “game-changer for regional connectivity,” said Trevor Sadler, CEO of interCaribbean, long one of the region’s biggest advocates for Caribbean air growth.

At interCaribbean, we’re committed to weaving a tighter, more connected fabric across the Caribbean and South America (Guyana), and this route is a further step in that direction.”
While Guyana is not geographically in the Caribbean, it is the home of the headquarters of CARICOM and a country with a deep kinship with the region’s culture.
More notably, it’s home to one of the world’s largest oil discoveries, something that has been driving a huge economic boom in Guyana.
“The launch of this service marks the realization of a vision to connect Grenada and Guyana in a way that brings our people, cultures, and economies closer together,” said Petra Roach, CEO of the Grenada Tourism Authority. “This direct connection not only eases the burden of travel, but also opens new possibilities for growth, exchange, and collaboration between our two nations.”
