The New Secrets All-Inclusive Resort in Saint Lucia Now Has an Opening Date

By: Alexander Britell - October 14, 2024 - 6:10 pm

The vibrant tastes of green figs and salt fish. The tucked-away beaches and coves. The the sparkling waters off the coast. The endless green hills and forests.

If you’ve been to Saint Lucia, you know. There’s a different kind of energy, a unique flavor that you have to visit to begin to understand.

The island is home to a very diverse group of hotels: small, boutique eco-hotels, little inns set on working cacao farms; classic beach resorts and high-level luxury escapes.

And yes, Saint Lucia also has some very good all-inclusive resorts and resorts with all-inclusive plans, ranging from the celebrated Jade Mountain (which has an all-inclusive option) and the Bay Gardens Resorts collection (which has the island’s famous dine-around all-inclusive program) and more traditional all-inclusives like the Zoëtry Marigot Bay, which debuted at the end of 22

The resort will have nine dining concepts.

Since then it’s been the only Hyatt-portfolio all-inclusive on the island, but in a few months that’s going to change.

One of Hyatt’s other Inclusive Collection brands, the fast-growing Secrets, is opening its first resort on the island.

And now the new Secrets has an opening date: Jan. 4, 2025, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The resort will be the second Inclusive Collection property on the island of Saint Lucia.

The 355-room adults-only resort (with swim-up rooms available) will be set on 30 acres at the edge of Choc Bay in northwestern Saint Lucia, close to all of the attractions, eateries and watering holes of Rodney Bay, one of our favorite parts of the island.

If you’ve stayed at a Secrets before, it will be what you expect: nine different dining concepts, a Secrets spa, 24-hour room service, six bars, daily entertainment and events and access to nearby golf.

So what about cost? A standard “deluxe tropical view” room will cost about $763 per night, all-inclusive.

If you want a swim-up room, a deluxe swim-out with a king bed is priced at $953 per night. In our opinion, the swim-up option is always worth it.

You can also use World of Hyatt points to book at the property.
