Turks and Caicos’ Top Luxury Residential Project Just Eclipsed $78 Million in Sales

By: Alexander Britell - September 2, 2024

2020 changed things. It changed the nature of real estate globally — and it sent high-net-worth buyers in numbers to the islands of the Caribbean, in search of space, seclusion and new levels of luxury.

That led, in large part, to one destination: the Turks and Caicos Islands, which has been one of the most sought-after real estate hotspots in the hemisphere in the last half-decade, for its beauty, its tranquility, its quality of life and its spectacular real estate.

A new luxury destination is rising in the Turks and Caicos Islands: The Loren at Turtle Cove and Marina, an ambitious, stunning enclave of condos, hotel suits, and villas. Now, The Loren at Turtle Cove has reached two significant milestones, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The first milestone is completing the foundation slab for the main hotel condo. This phase sets the stage for accelerated progress across the remaining phases of the development.

It means that The Loren at Turtle Cove is now eyeing rapid advancement, bringing closer the day when it will “open its doors to discerning owners and guests who seek nothing less than the epitome of refined island living,” broker Robert Greenwood, Broker of Record for the development and a Senior Broker and Director of Christie’s International Real Estate-Turks and Caicos, told Caribbean Journal.

Perhaps more notably, The Loren at Turtle Cove just celebrated another milestone in sales, reaching a $78,000,000 in volume ahead of schedule.

It’s a figure that reflects the market’s confidence in the project and the allure of The Loren brand, which is already well established with properties in Bermuda and Austin, Texas.

So what has been selling so far?

Among the sales highlights are three stunning beachfront villas and one of the two spectacular penthouses.

That comes along with a variety of one, two, and three-bedroom units that are now under contract, underscoring the broad appeal of this development.

These sales figures, achieved well before projections, speak volumes about the demand for such high-caliber properties in the Turks and Caicos Islands, Greenwood said.

“The Loren at Turtle Cove is not just another luxury development; it is a signature property for The Loren Hotel Group, marking one of the region’s first ventures of this kind,” said Greenwood. “This project is poised to redefine luxury living in the Caribbean, offering a unique blend of world-class amenities, impeccable service, and stunning natural beauty. The Loren’s commitment to excellence, already demonstrated in their other properties, ensures that this enclave will be nothing short of extraordinary.”

Christie’s International Real Estate, Turks and Caicos, one of the world’s leading global luxury real estate brands, is exclusively representing this project.

It’s a sign that The Loren represents the “future of luxury in the Caribbean,” Greenwood said, where “every detail is crafted to perfection, and every resident is part of something extraordinary.”
