Beach days on Grace Bay. Afternoons at Noah’s Ark. Rugged hikes in Middle Caicos. Culinary journeys at Sui Ren. A villa getaway at the Shore Club.

There’s no single way to experience the Turks and Caicos Islands. But one thing is clear: coming to the archipelago is more popular than ever.

All you have to do is look at the numbers: even in the typically slower Caribbean summer season, Turks and Caicos drew in 71,452 stayover visitors – a nearly 16 percent jump compared to the same month last year.

Occupancy levels are still surging, standing at 75.8 percent in July, the third-highest rate of any destination in the wider region, according to STR.

Turks and Caicos remains a “preferred choice for travelers looking for a top-tier vacation,” says Tourism Minister Josephine Connolly.

Indeed, it’s been what Connolly described as a “bumper year,” both for stayover and cruise visits to Grand Turk.
