Nassau’s popular Margaritaville Beach Resort is set to honor the late Jimmy Buffett with a weekend of the legendary musician’s works.

To mark Jimmy Buffett Day on Aug. 30, the resort will host live performances of Buffett’s greatest hits from Friday to Monday of Labor Day Weekend, running from Aug. 30 to Sept. 1.

The resort will also be featuring its “Keep the Party Going” package, which gives travelers an 18 percent discount on their stay at the waterfront Bahamas resort.

Taht’s along with a pair of special edition commemorative cups. Even better? A $5 contribution per night of a guest’s stay will be donated to the Bahamas National Trusts’ environmental initiatives.

If you’re not familiar with it, the resort is the newest addition to downtown Nassau, with a dual-resort complex (the other one is a residential-style hotel called One Particular Harbour), a world-class waterpark and all of the Buffett-themed amenities and eateries you expect.
