How You Can Stay at a Top Caribbean Resort — And Help Hospitality Workers Impacted by Beryl
Hurricane Beryl wreaked havoc across several islands in the Caribbean, and that included devastation to several destinations in the southern Caribbean in particular.
Now, the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association, together with the CHTA Education Foundation, has launched a push to support Caribbean hospitality workers impacted by the storm.
The Hurricane Relief Auction features hotel stays in Caribbean destinations including Antigua, Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Grenada, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, Turks & Caicos, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
“In times of crisis, the spirit of solidarity and support can make a profound difference. This auction not only provides essential aid to those affected but also serves as a reminder of the global community’s ability to come together for a common cause,” said Vanessa Ledesma, Acting CEO and Director General of CHTA.
Beryl made landfall in early July, causing significant damage in the Grenadine islands and the south coast of Jamaica.
“As we mobilize support through this auction, remember that every bid not only aids recovery but also fuels hope among those hit hardest by the hurricane,” said Karolin Troubetzkoy, Chair of CHTAEF.
