American Airlines Is Adding Daily Flights From Charlotte to Antigua
Beginning in December, the sizzling Caribbean destination of Antigua and Barbuda is set for a major ramp-up of service on American Airlines.
The world’s largest airline is planning to expand its existing Charlotte-Antigua flights to daily nonstop service, Caribbean Journal has learned.
The daily service will officially take effect on Dec. 5, the carrier confirmed.
The move comes after American Airlines earlier this summer expanded its Miami-Antigua service, adding a second daily nonstop flight from Miami to VC Bird International Airport back in June.
The flights have helped drive record-breaking tourism numbers for Antigua and Barbuda and one of the fastest arrival growth rates in the wider Caribbean.
