Aruba is continuing to tap into the increasingly important South American market for tourism growth. Now, one of its newest aviation partnerships is expanding: LATAM is adding more service from Lima to Aruba.
LATAM, which was flying four weekly flights between Lima and Aruba, will be ramping that up to five weekly flights beginning in October.
The new schedule will mean roundtrip flights between Peru and Aruba on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
It’s part of broader flight growth from the continent for Aruba, including new routes from both Avianca, which just started a flight from Medellin to Aruba, and Brazilian carrier Gol, which is adding a new thrice-weekly service from São Paulo to Aruba in December.
Aruba’s Queen Beatrix Airport just announced that it had broken its all-time passenger traffic record in the first half of 2024.
