Saint Lucia Keeps Up Tourism Growth, Besting Pre-Pandemic Numbers
Saint Lucia continues to see its tourism numbers grow in 2024, according to new data provided to Caribbean Journal.
In May, the destination reported 36,375 stay over arrivals, a 9 percent increase compared to May 2023.
For the year, total arrivals (cruise and stay over combined) are up to 660,52, a 4 percent increase compared to 2023.

Overall, stay over arrivals are up 10 percent in 2024, and 5 percent higher than in 2019, before the onset of the pandemic.
“We are thrilled to witness such a phenomenal increase in visitor numbers this May,” said Dr. Ernest Hilaire, Minister of Tourism for Saint Lucia.
The arrivals have “placed Saint Lucia on the map as a premier destination,” he said.
