By: Caribbean Journal Staff - June 22, 2024

The Pitons, Reduit Beach, Rodney Bay and Soufriere. Saint Lucia is filled with memorable places, and the island is more popular than it has been than at any time since the pandemic.

After Saint Lucia recovered 90 percent of its 2019-era tourism arrivals last year, the destination has continued to see growth in 2024.

So far, tourist arrivals for the year are up 10.7 percent over the same period last year, with growth of over 8 percent each month in 2024.

In fact, every month this year was ahead of the same month in 2019, before the pandemic, tourism officials told Caribbean Journal.

January and March 2024 were actually all-time visitor arrival records for the destination.

The hope is to surpass the 400,000 visitor market this year.

Are you planning a vacation to Saint Lucia? The island has an impressive portfolio of resorts to choose from, ranging from the outstanding Bay Gardens resorts portfolio to the famous Jade Mountain resort and Sandals‘ all-inclusive hotspots.
