It’s one of the most legendary culinary events, well, anywhere in the world: Cayman Cookout, Chef Eric Ripert’s gastronomic festival at the Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman.

And it’s back again this winter for what will be its 16th annual event.

The event is a haven for celebrity chefs, with attending chefs already including everyone from Andrew Zimmern to Daniel Boulud and Emeril Lagasse when the event returns on Jan. 15.

That’s along with some newcomers like Jorge Vallejo, Mawa McQueen, Ronald Hsu and Gonzo Jimenez, among others.

The event, which celebrates International and Caribbean cuisine, is a unique, intimate, up-close encounter with chefs, sommeliers, beverage experts and spirits producers, from cooking demonstrations to tastings to chef-hosted lunches and poolside cocktails.

The 2025 event runs Jan. 15-20, 2025.

So how do you attend?

The hotel has a signature “Cayman Cookout” package that runs guests $2400 per night — that’s for two guests with a five-night stay required.

It includes a premium room, access to the experiences and an airport transfer, along with priority seating at the demonstrations and meet-and-greets. You’ll also get special “gourmet amenities” delivered every day to your room.

“The Ritz-Carlton, Cayman Cookout has consistently provided a warm and welcoming platform for the world’s finest chefs to unite in celebration of the art, skill, and dedication inherent in the culinary arts. This event brings together international experts in the stunning setting of Grand Cayman, honoring both the island and our cherished attendees. Each year I host, I am continually moved and inspired by the emotion, creativity, and passion poured into every dish,” said Chef Ripert, who is the Vice Chairman of the Board of City Harvest and owner of three Michelin stars for Le Bernardin in New York — along with a celebrated eatery, Blue, at the Ritz in Grand Cayman.
