The Caribbean’s sexiest beaches are a cocktail of shorelines for different travelers. But they all just manage to have a certain extra appeal.

Cove Beach, Paradise Island, The Bahamas This stretch of sand at the Cove at Atlantis resort on Paradise Island is breathtakingly beautiful, with the kind of turquoise you can only find in The Bahamas and sugar-white sand. Mambo Beach, Curacao Mambo is fun. Mambo is hip. Roxxy Beach, St Martin This corner of Simpson Bay has become its own beach destination: a world-class beach bar with an always-pulsing, music-filled atmosphere that has made it just about the coolest destination on one of the coolest islands in the Caribbean. There’s always a DJ, the food is outstanding and the crowd is hip and energetic.
Long Bay, Antigua You can go across the Caribbean and back and be hard pressed to find a more lovely coastline than this strand in Antigua, where the water is impossibly blue and the sand blindingly white. It’s the best of both worlds here: on one end, a quiet stretch of serenity; on the other, the Pineapple Beach Club, one of the region’s most popular adults-only resorts.
Orient Bay, St Martin There’s one after another. Then another. Then another. Lounge after lounge, hopping soundtrack after hopping soundtrack, a boulevard of beach bars unmatched anywhere in the region. And when you get to the end, there’s the Caribbean’s most famous au naturel beach. Orient is a vibe.
Isla Verde, Puerto Rico The party beach in San Juan is like a little slice of Copacabana in Puerto Rico, with a never-ending stretch of bars, eateries and hotels that means the scene here never stops.
Saline Beach, St Barth It’s one of the most stunning beaches in the Caribbean, reached by a short sandy stroll in one of the more uncrowded corners of St Barth. Thanks to its majestic, sweeping setting, it almost always feels uncrowded. And did we mention it’s a nude beach, too?
Pinel Island, St Martin It’s just a minute or two to reach this place from mainland St Martin, but when you arrive you’ll be convinced you’ve traveled on a transatlantic flight to Ibiza. Lindquist Beach, St Thomas You may remember it from those old DirecTV ads featuring Hannah Jeter, who rode around this beach on horseback. But you should definitely know it as one of the most striking beaches in the US Virgin Islands, an exotic, serene beach set within a protected park.
La Sagesse Beach, Grenada This Eastern Grenada beach has been in the news of late as the home of the soon-to-open, first-ever Six Senses resort in the Caribbean. But it’s also a jaw-dropping beach in its own right, from the cliffs to the green hills to its nearly half mile of sand and palm trees.
Rendezvous Bay, Anguilla You can’t look away. The view of St Martin’s green curves and the aquamarine in front of you, married with a sand so white you have to squint to look at it. Rendezvous is the grande dame of Anguilla, an island that doesn’t lack for fabulous beaches, and that remains the case today. Even better?
