The Baha Mar in The Bahamas.

It’s home to one of the greatest collections of fine restaurants in one place, well, anywhere: the Baha Mar resort in Nassau.

From Marcus Samuelsson’s Marcus at Baha Mar Fish + Chop House to the Chinese-focused Shuang Ba, there’s a reason the hotel is a foodie haven.

Now, the property’s Grand Hyatt Baha Mar has named a new food and beverage director: Mehdi Natanzi, who has more than two decades of experience with Hyatt.

Natanzi will be overseeing the operations and management of more than 20 of the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar’s top outlets, including Cinco, Marcus, Shuang Ba, Cafe Madeleine and Stix Noddle Bar, among others.

“I am tremendously excited to live and work in Nassau, supporting the great food and beverage teams and the iconic restaurants at Grand Hyatt Baha Mar,” shares Natanzi. “I am incredibly honored to be chosen for this role and appreciate the trust given to me, as we continue to establish Baha Mar as the Bahamian leader in culinary offerings and experiences.”
