Puerto Rico has long been a hotel-focused destination, not much of a luxury villa destination. But the island’s post-pandemic travel boom has seen a wave of new-build luxury villas and a newly-strong position on the radar of high-net-worth travelers specifically seeking the space and serenity of villa getaways.
Now, with Puerto Rico’s villa market percolating, one of the Caribbean’s top villa companies is entering the market: Villas of Distinction.
The company has officially expanded to Puerto Rico, it confirmed this week.
“Our guests are always at the forefront when making decisions,” said Andrew Kaye, general manager for Villas of Distinction. “We listen to their feedback and track market trends to curate a portfolio that includes not only popular destinations but also emerging locales. Our goal is to have the most carefully curated selection of villas in the industry.”
Villas of Distinction’s portfolio is anchored by a collection of three-bedroom residences at the ultra-luxe Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Dorado.
Those villas include personal butlers, outdoor showers and full access to the Ritz-Carlton’s amenities.
