The Tippy Sunshine.

For more than two decades, this has been the must-visit beach bar in Governor’s Harbour, Eleuthera: Tippy’s perched above a stunning crescent of sand on the island’s eastern coast.

The colorful yellow and blue, the warm service and great food have had no trouble drawing visitors.

But the crown jewel of this place remains a rum punch: the Tippy Sunshine.

Tippy’s.

It’s a guava-colored cocktail that goes down rather smoothly on sunny Eleuthera afternoons, a lovely mix of sweet and tangy with a serious punch.

But ask a Tippy’s bartender what’s in it? You’ll get a standard reply.

“It’s a rum punch. That’s all I’m allowed to tell you.”

Because clearly, discovering the blend of the Tippy Sunshine is about doing your own research. And then doing more of it.

For more, visit Tippy’s.
