It’s one of the hottest travel destinations in all of the wider Caribbean – and now the Turks and Caicos Islands has a major new connection from the United Kingdom.

Air carrier Virgin Atlantic has officially kicked off its first-ever flights between London and Providenciales, Turks and Caicos.

The new service, which began Nov. 4, is operating between London Heathrow and Turks and Caicos.

From now through April 1, 2024, the flights will operate on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

It’s a significant new gateway for Turks and Caicos, which has emerged from the pandemic as one of the most sought-after getaways in the Caribbean, and arguably the most in-demand destination for high-net-worth travelers.

That includes demand for celebrated resorts like the Shore Club on Long Bay, the Palms and the new Ritz-Carlton, Turks and Caicos, boutique resorts like Point Grace and private-island retreats like Parrot Cay and Pine Cay, among others.

The new route will be operating year round, according to Virgin.
