A new boutique airline has launched operations between the Unites and Bermuda.

The new carrier, BermudAir, is an all-business-class airline flying from three different cities to Bermuda: New York-Westchester, Boston and, most recently, Fort Lauderdale.

Bermudair is operating its flights on Embraer 175 with just 30 seats for a “superior travel experience,” according to the company.

The airline will be operating service year round; beginning in November, all seats will be “aisle access,” meaning no adjacent seat.

Amenities include free wi-Fi, in-seat power, light dining and beverages (including Bermuda’s famous Rum Swizzle), and a personal surface area for workspace and dining.

It’s part of a growing trend in the Atlantic and the Caribbean, one that includes La Compagnie’s imminent launch to the island of St Maarten.

New York-Bermuda flights will be operating eight times per week; Boston flights will run on Mondays and between Wednesdays and Sundays; and Fort Lauderdale-Bermuda flight will operate once daily on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
