Silver Airways Launching New Dominican Republic Flights

Regional carrier Silver Airways is adding another new destination in the Caribbean: Puerto Plata on the north coast of the Dominican Republic. 

Beginning Dec. 9, Silver will be operating flights between San Juan, Puerto Rico and Puerto Plata. 

The new route will operate twice weekly, with service on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Puerto Plata is one of the most popular destinations in the country, with a large number of all-inclusive resorts and attractions. 

It’s one of several new destinations for Silver out of San Juan, along with Antigua and another hotspot in the Dominican Republic, La Romana.
