From Turks and Caicos to St Barth, 10 Vacation Villas to Try Now

villa st barth

The Nomade villa in St Barth.

If you’re a frequent Caribbean traveler, you know that there’s simply no experience like a luxury villa vacation.

The seclusion, the comfort, the independence — they’re the reasons why villas have become arguably the biggest trend in Caribbean travel since the onset of the pandemic.

A villa vacation means an immersive local experience: shopping in the market, eating out at local eateries, changing your internal rhythm to an island beat.

We’ve selected a collection of outstanding villas from the Caribbean’s leading provider, WIMCO, to inspire your next villa vacation in the Caribbean.

Villa Petite Plage 4, St Martin

This is one of the coolest villa settings in the Caribbean: just above the beach near the Grand Case Beach Club, a short walk from the world-class dining scene in town and a jaw-dropping view of Anguilla and the Creole Rock. This is a five-bedroom villa directly on the beach; it’s the height of French Caribbean elegance.

Villa Zetes, St Barth

You simply won’t be able to look away. The views here are that good here in Petite Saline, where you can gaze out at the tiny cays that rim the island and the imposing green cliffs and hills that dot this side of the island. The villa itself has it all, from a separate media room to a magnificent pool. This one has it all.

Villa Bel Ombre, St Barth

This luxe three-bedroom retreat is set in the Marigot area of the island, set in the hills with spectacular views of the sea (including the nearby cay of La Tortue). There are three bedrooms, three bathrooms and a lovely pool.

Villa La Siesta, St Martin

If you know St Martin, you know the stunning corner of the island called Terre Basses, home to some of the most spectacular settings in the French Caribbean. This hillside villa has five bedrooms and five bathrooms; three of the bedrooms actually open up right onto the pool. But the biggest story just might be the views: from Simpson Bay to Anguilla.

Tamarind, Turks and Caicos

A classic Caribbean design, elegant and luxurious. This is Tamarind, a six-bedroom direct beachfront villa in the Turtle Cove area of the island of Providenciales.

Mirande, St Barth

The pool deck says it all: a veritable painting of green hills and turquoise waters in a privileged perch on a hillside in Pointe Milou. Four bedrooms, four bedrooms, and just a short stroll from two different beaches.

Waters Edge at Oil Nut Bay, Virgin Gorda

Virgin Gorda is arguably the most sought-after villa destination in the British Virgin Islands, and this jewel at the exclusive Oil Nut Bay development is a fantastic option. Four bedrooms, four bathrooms, breathtaking views and, most importantly, access to all of the amenities at Oil Nut Bay, from the spa to the pickle ball courts.

Cocoanut at Kamalame Cay, The Bahamas

Kamalame Cay has quietly become one of the most popular jet-set and celebrity hotspots in the Caribbean in recent years. But it’s not just a hotel: there’s also a rarified collection of villas like this one: a four bedroom, 6,000-square-foot retreat that’s actually the largest one on Kamalame, which is just of the coast of Andros in The Bahamas.

Fiore, Anguilla

This modern contemporary villa has four-bedrooms in the heart of Shoal Bay in Anguilla. The bi-level property has a massive infinity pool and otherworldly views of the Caribbean Sea.

Villa La Nomade, St Barth

The beauty of the Lurin area in St Barth is that it feels secluded, yet is just a short drive from the energy and action in Gustavia. This four-bedroom stunner has views of just about the whole island, from St Jean to Saline, and has a rather unique brand of sunset vista to boot.
