The Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa, one of Grand Cayman’s premier luxury resorts, has named a new area director of food and beverage.

The property has Hungary native Imre Maraczi to the role, in which he will oversee all dining outlets at the resort, including the renowned Ave and the recently-opened Library by the Sea cocktail bar, among others.

“We are thrilled to welcome Imre Maraczi to our team at Kimpton Seafire,” said Steve Andre, General Manager of Kimpton Seafire. “His exceptional leadership, creativity and dedication to delivering outstanding culinary experiences are perfectly in tune with our commitment to providing guests with memorable stays.”

His career has included stops at Kempinski and Marriott, along with training in several Michelin-starred eateries.

“I am truly honored to join the Kimpton Seafire family,” Maraczi said. “I look forward to collaborating with the talented team and building upon the existing culinary legacy of this exceptional property.
