It’s one of the best-kept secrets in Caribbean diving: the tiny Dutch Caribbean island of Saba, just a short ferry or flight away from St Maarten.
And now the island’s enviable dive offering is getting better, with top operator Sea Saba adding a pair of new dive boats to its fleet.
The two boats: Fin & Tonic and Shark Bait, are Aventura catamarans that are the longest, widest and fastest dive boats on the island.
The OXE 200 HP diesel outboards are the first on any dive boats worldwide, using less than half the fuel of a comparable gasoline outboard while also significantly reducing noise pollution.
Sea Saba is conducing daily dive and snorkel charters along with sunset cruises on the boats. Daily dive trips leave at 9 AM for the morning double tank and an afternoon single dive at 1p.
There are also night dives and sunset cruises available.
