Paranza is now open.

Michelin-starred Chef Michael White has officially opened his new restaurant in The Bahamas: Paranza.

The Italian eatery has opened its doors at the Atlantis Paradise Island resort.

Paranza is a “love letter to Italy” by the renowned chef, whose Italian eatery in New York, Marea, earned three Michelin stars.

The menu focuses on seafood, fro local conch and green apple aqua pazza verde to linguine with squid ink and crusted strawberry grouper.

His resume also includes opening the Lido restaurant at the Surf Club in Miami, and relaunching the Lambs Club in New York, among others.

White was one of the participating celebrity chefs at the Atlantis-hosted Nassau Paradise Island Wine and Food Festival earlier this year.

Nassau Paradise Island continues to grow as one of the Caribbean’s hottest culinary destinations, with an epicenter at Atlantis, which is also home to Michelin-star chefs Nobu Matsuhisa and Jose Andres.

The resort also just saw the debut of the first-ever Shake Shack in the Caribbean.
