The Kempinski Hotel Cancun is planning a series of upgrades to the property, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The luxury resort, which was formerly the Ritz-Carlton, Cancun, is planning a renovation of its culinary center, along with a complete refurbishment of all of its suites.

The latter includes changes to furniture, walls, aluminum works, marble replacement and polish, and floor repair on terraces and balconies.

More than half of the rooms at the Kempinski Hotel Cancun have already been refurbished already, according to the property.

The property is also planning an overhaul of its culinary program, with updates to menus across its eateries, including new items at both the Fantino eatery and the Club Grill, led by Chefs Sanae Youngs and Gilberto Puc.

“We take immense pride in unveiling the reimagined Kempinski Hotel Cancún, where we seamlessly integrate the iconic features of our esteemed European brand with the distinct local elements of the destination, resulting in an unparalleled luxury experience,” said Rodrigo Arellano, Marketing Manager at Kempinski Hotel Cancún.
