Cayman Islands flag carrier Cayman Airways is set to launch its new nonstop flights between Grand Cayman and Panama City next week.

The new service will kick off on June 26, operating on Cayman Airways’ new fleet of 160-seat Boeing 737-8 jets, with flights on Mondays and Thursdays “during peak travel periods.”

“We’re thrilled to announce that the wait is over,” Cayman Airways said in a statement.

And yes, the flights include Cayman Airways’ famous rum punch.

Cayman Airways is also expanding its flights to La Ceiba, Honduras this summer, with high demand for long-weekend travel over the summer.

That will include twice-weekly service over the summer, with flights on Tuesdays and Fridays.
