Air Canada Is Adding a New Route to the Dominican Republic

The Dominican Republic is reporting record-breaking tourism arrivals, both in traditional hubs like Punta Cana and Puerto Plata and markets like Samana and La Romana. 

The latter is set for another boost with a new route from Canada this winter, Caribbean Journal has learned.

Air Canada is set to launch a new route between Montreal and La Romana, the destination perhaps best known for the renowned Casa de Campo Resort and Villas. 

The new service will kick off on Dec. 17, 2023, operating for the peak winter travel season. 

Montreal-La Romana service will be operating once-weekly on Sundays.
