One of the top all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean is embarking on an “extensive” renovation project with plans to reopen in October, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The Curtain Bluff resort in Antigua is launching a “multimillion-dollar” renovation timed for completion for the reopening of the property for the season on Oct. 21, 2023.

The makeover will include the hotel’s two Hulford Collection Suites; its Morris & Grace Bay Pool Suites and several Junior Suites. The units will receive a “lighter and more modernized” room aesthetic.

The resort is also opening an expanded Wellness Area, along with a new adults-only wellness center between the spa and gym facilities.

The legendary resort is set on one of the most beautiful promontories in Antigua.

“We are thrilled to announce the extensive renovations taking place at Curtain Bluff, as we continue to elevate our guests’ experience to new heights of luxury and comfort,” said Rob Sherman, the resort’s managing director. “From breathtaking new room designs to revitalized amenities and facilities, every aspect of the resort has been carefully crafted to create a haven of relaxation and rejuvenation. We can’t wait to welcome our loyal guests back this fall to experience the unparalleled beauty and serenity of Antigua in style.”

That’s along with a new Yoga Pavilion built in the resort’s Zen gardens, with a new infinity pool and waterfront jacuzzi.

Next summer, Curtain Bluff will undertake another room enhancement project, with another $2 million for design improvements.
