Bonaire Tourism Arrivals Keep Climbing

Travelers continue to flock to the Dutch Caribbean island of Bonaire at levels ahead of the banner year of 2019, according to new data from Tourism Corporation Bonaire. 

The island welcomed 16,367 stay over visitors in March, a 2.3 percent increase over the same period in 2019. 

While Dutch visitors continued to dominate arrivals, accounting for 48 percent of all visitors, the United States market accounted for a strong 23 percent. 

Bonaire also reported 29 total cruise calls, with a total of 74,863 total cruise passenger visits. 

The island is primed for a strong summer, headlined by the popular Bonaire Rum Week from June 12-17.
