Secrets Is Opening an Adults-Only All-Inclusive in Tulum

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - March 31, 2023

It’s no secret that more and more hotel brands are opening all-inclusive resorts in and around Tulum. And now the Mexican Caribbean hotspot is getting another one.

The strikingly-designed Secrets Tulum Resort and Beach Club, an adults-only, all-inclusive resort, is opening its doors this fall.

The all-suite, 300-unit resort has an official opening date of Oct. 12, 2023, according to the company, which is part of Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection.

The new resort is set in the mangroves of Tulum, with a separate beach club offsite.

The property will include 10 different dining concepts, ranging from a buffet to international a la carte eateries and a beach bar called Barracuda.

Suites include three different categories, including the most popular thing in all-inclusive right now: the swim-out room.

In a unique addition for the Secrets brand, the resort will be home to the five-bedroom “Secrets Beach Villa,” a private, all-inclusive vacation villa that includes its own rooftop with a plunge pool.

There will also be a Preferred Club, including upgraded suites, access to an exclusive lounge and special concierge service, among other amenities.

And in keeping with the Secrets brand, the Tulum resort will have a Secrets Spa by Pevonia, with hydrotherapy, Mayan-inspired treatments, a sauna, a steam room, two individual cabins and one couple’s cabin.

It’s one of two high-profile resort debuts for the Secrets brand in the Caribbean this year, both on the Caribbean coast of Mexico.

In May, Secrets is opening its highly-anticipated new Secrets Impression Isla Mujeres on the tiny island off the coast of Cancun.

It’s also the latest in a growing pipeline of major branded resorts coming to Tulum, all-inclusive and otherwise, from Marriott to Kimpton to Hilton, all of whom have opened new hotels in the area in the last couple of years.
