Hyatt has continued its regional expansion with a new hotel in Mexico: the new Hyatt Regency San Luis Potosi.

The new 134-room hotel is set in the city’s Las Lomas neighborhood, adjacent to the San Luis Potosi’s historic downtown.

The city is known for its 17th-century architecture.

“We are thrilled to open our doors and introduce the Hyatt brand to San Luis Potosí,” said Joel Abaroa, general manager of Hyatt Regency San Luis Potosí. “We look forward to welcoming leisure and business travelers alike as the go-to gathering space, providing guests with everything they need to work and play.”

The property includes a Regency Club Lounge (and special Regency Club Suites), along with free Wi-Fi across the property and digital room keys.

The hotel includes an outdoor pool and hot tub and a 24-hour fitness center.

Dining options include the full-service eatery Sonoma, along with a cocktail bar called Dry Martini (by top mixologist Javier de las Muelas) and a pair of other restaurants: the grill-focused Gaucho Prime and the Mediterranean-inspired La Gran Via Cava Baja.

Meeting space comprises 10,000 square feet of flexible space.
