Another Reason to Visit Antigua and Barbuda Restaurant Week

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - March 15, 2023

There’s another great reason to visit the Caribbean’s hottest new culinary event: Antigua and Barbuda Restaurant Week.

Elite Island Resorts is offering a $500 air credit for travelers visiting the destination for the event, valid for stays at the St James’ Club and Villas; The Verandah Resort and Spa; Pineapple Beach Club and Galley Bay Resort and Spa.

“Antigua and Barbuda Restaurant Week is a delicious way to explore the culture of our country,” said Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Minister Charles Henry Fernandez  “Antigua & Barbuda. “Because the beach is just the beginning of what these islands have to offer.”

The week includes prix-fixe lunch and dinner menus at participating restaurants around the island, from celebrated hotspots like Sheer Rocks to hot new eateries like Rokuni.

“This event will showcase the diversity in culinary arts that our beloved destination has, as well as price points,” said Alex Grimley, managing partner at Rocks Group, whose portfolio includes Sheer Rocks, Rokuni and Catherine’s Cafe.

The event is not limited to Antigua; Barbuda is also participating, with the eatery at the Barbuda Belle hotel.

“From fresh lobster or fish on the grill to our authentic, homemade dishes with a French twist, we will offer a variety of menu options, perfect for toes in the sand dining or seated in our restaurant, The Mangrove,’ said Doc François Petit, owner of the Barbuda Belle.
