You could always hear the music.
After a delicoius dinner at one of the celebrated eateries on Grand Case Boulevard, you’d take a stroll and you’d hear it, you’d feel the energy.
There was always something drawing you to the far end of the street, to the cocktails and the live bands and the impromptu dancing.
And then, when She came, Calmos Cafe was gone.
In the six years since, there has been a palpable void on Grand Case Boulevard, with the shell of the Calmos Cafe a grim reminder of the destruction Irma wrought on this island.

But now, happily, finally, Calmos is back again, once again the heartbeat of Grand Case, now taking its essential place in the already-rejuvenated French Caribbean town.
“Six years away was far too long,” the Calmos team said in a statement. “We are delighted and moved to be in this place again.”

They’re calling it Calmos 2.0, a new home for “homemade cocktails, fresh fish and passionate cooking.”

Once again, you can enjoy a few hours at L’Auberge Gourmande or Ocean 82 or Le Cotage or Le Pressoir or any of Grand Case’s world-class restaurants, take a stroll, and then really begin your evening.
Calmos Cafe is open every day except Wednesday beginning at 5 pm. It is located at 40 Boulevard de Grand Case in St Martin.
