Cancun Nonstop Flights Canada

Upstart Canadian airline Canada Jetlines has added its first Caribbean destination: Cancun, Mexico.

The carrier officially kicked off its new nonstop service from Toronto to Cancun on March 3, Caribbean Journal has learned.

Toronto-Cancun service is operating three times each week, with flights on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

“Canada Jetlines is very proud to operate our first scheduled flight between Canada and Mexico,” said Duncan Bureau, chief commercial officer at Canada Jetlines. “Canada Jetlines continues to expand on the strong relationships with the Travel Agency community, and Tourism Boards in both Canada and Mexico. We are looking forward to offering our world class product to those that are traveling between the province of Ontario and the state of Quintana Roo.”

Bureau said the carrier was looking to add more new markets, both in Mexico and the wider Caribbean.

The airline first began operations last fall.

It has a fleet of two Airbus A320 aircraft with capacity for 174 passengers.
