There’s a new way to get to Bonaire from the island of Aruba.

Upstart Curacao-based airline Jetair Caribbean has launched new service between Aruba and Bonaire, a route that helps open up Aruba’s broad airlift network for travelers looking to visit Bonaire.

“We are happy for Bonaire that JetAir provides new connections to Aruba, Curacao and Sint Maarten. We see that demand for interisland connectivity remains strong and JetAir is a welcome addition with their comfortable and fast jet aircraft,” said Maarten van der Scheer, CEO of BIA.

Right now, the carrier is operating once-weekly service on Wednesdays.

The flight also helps improve inter-island service for travelers in the ABC market.

“This is an important milestone for Dutch Caribbean connectivity,” said Miles Mercera, CEO of Tourism Corporation Bonaire. “TCB recognizes the importance of additional airlift between the Dutch Caribbean islands as Aruba and Curaçao are part of our top 8 most important source markets.”

Jetair has also launched connectivity between Bonaire and Curacao, with flights on Wednesdays to Curacao and Friday back to Bonaire.
