It’s the newest project in the Cayman Islands: Kapok, a 10-level, 120,000-square-foot residential building with 89 units on floors No. 2 to 10 recently completed development in January.

But it’s a new kind of development for the area: all of the units are for lease only.

Units at the Dart-developed property vary in size from 550-square-foot studio units to 1698-square-foot three-bedroom units.

Provenance Properties Cayman Islands is the exclusive for-lease broker.

Named after the giant tree that frames the entrance to the building, Kapok was built to enhance connections, lifestyle and healthy habits. It offers seven unique floor plans and living spaces.

With sustainability at its core, Kapok is the first development in the Cayman Islands to be built to Fitwel certification, a green building rating system that prioritizes occupant health and wellness.

“We’re thrilled to welcome residents to Kapok this month,” said Ewelina Cimring, a Provenance Properties agent. “The building is an ode to design excellence and was recently honored with a prestigious International Property Award, an incredible achievement.”

Residents enjoy a vast array of services and amenities with the added appeal of an address and locale in Camana Bay.

Some of the notable amenities include a private second-floor terrace swimming pool, a pool and deck lounges with kitchens and sheltered seating, a shared rooftop observation deck with panoramic views, an outdoor kitchen and a yoga lawn and two guest suites with hotel-inspired amenities.

Kapok features fully furnished apartments, including studios, one-bedroom, one-bedroom plus den, two-bedroom and three-bedroom units, ranging from 561 to 1,476 square feet, each with a private terrace or balcony.

Interior features include oversized leaning mirrors, floating shelves, art prints and standing planters standard in all units, large walk-in closets, wardrobes and concealed storage, premium appliances and a pet-friendly environment.

Camana Bay is home to an array of experiences in the Cayman Islands. The 685-acre town is also the premier destination for global business as well as an epicenter of fashion, food, entertainment, culture and fun.
