The Dominican Republic’s premier luxury resort is about to take on another title: the Caribbean’s hottest wellness resort.
The 7,000-acre Casa de Campo Resort and Villas in La Romana has always held a privileged spot in the Caribbean luxury pantheon, for its unrivaled combination of luxury rooms and villas, the best golf in the region, and a diverse offering ranging from the cultural destination of Altos de Chavon to a world-class equestrian program.
At the end of last year, Casa de Campo debuted its new “resort within a resort” called the Premier Club at Casa de Campo.
And now it has vaulted into a new level in the wellness space.
The resort will soon unveil a brand-new, state-of-the-art spa and wellness center, The Spa at Casa de Campo, a facility that instantly turns the property into the region’s hottest wellness destination.
“Our new spa and wellness center is the latest project in our ongoing mission to further elevate the luxury experience here at Casa de Campo,” says Jason Kycek, Senior Vice President at Casa de Campo. “Coming off the heels of our new Premier Club & Suites opening, which offers an unprecedented level of exclusivity and seclusion on property, the new spa and wellness center will raise the bar of excellence even higher for our most discerning guests at the resort.”
The 18,000-square-foot facility will blend an extensive hydrothermal circuit featuring sauna, steam, a vitality pool, cold plunge, laconic loungers and an outdoor spa pool.
The center will include 13 luxury treatment rooms, along with high-tech treatments like JetPeel Facials, which use jets and air to cleanse and exfoliate the skin; triple detox therapy, which uses Far Infrared technology with plasma and light therapies to detox; and binaural acoustic and dynamic stimulation on Welnamis tables, which uses “computer-controlled acoustic and vibrational therapy that trains the brain to relax and benefit from deep relaxation techniques by using specific vibrations and binaural audio frequencies,” according to the resort.
Every treatment room will have its own private garden and outdoor rain shower.
Even better? The Spa at Casa de Campo will also have its own “spa within a spa,” for VIPs, groups and use as a bridal suite.
For wellness-focused travelers, the spa at the resort is just the beginning, from the property’s stunning natural environment to its position as a haven for active travelers in search of world-class golf, equestrian, sport fishing and even an extensive yoga and personal training program.
The Spa at Casa de Campo will be opening for booking starting this spring.
