The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection Has a New Caribbean Port: Bonaire

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - January 11, 2023

The Caribbean island of Bonaire is the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection’s newest port in the region.

Ritz-Carlton’s new luxury cruise line called on Bonaire for the first time this week, with the Evrima ship in the heart of Kralendijk.

The yacht, which was built in 2021, has a maximum capacity of 298 people.

It’s part of a broader push in the luxury cruising sector for Bonaire.

“We couldn’t be happier about the experience,” Tourism Corporation Bonaire said in a statement.

Officials said almost every Evrima guest paid a visit to the island, either on their own or via a tour.

The ship stayed until 10 PM.

“In the future, we hope to be able to welcome the Evrima and similar yachts back to our island,” Tourism Corporation Bonaire said.
