Anguilla’s Aurora Anguilla Resort is making it easier for travelers to get to the island.

The property has launched a new air charter service exclusively for guests of the hotel.

The charter flights are operating twice weekly from Westchester County Airport, with service operated by Best Jets International.

“The introduction of our public air charter service is another example of our property’s continued commitment to providing guests with exemplary travel experiences,” said Aurora Anguilla Managing Director Christopher Walling. “Through this offering along with our new resort developments, we’ll be able to give guests a seamless and luxurious travel experience, from their hometown all the way to their ocean-front suite in Anguilla.”

Guests can either book a special Fly Direct Plane Package that includes flights and accommodations, or add their flights to an existing room reservation.

The resort, the former CuisinArt Resort, has been dramatically transformed since its purchaser by Best Buy founder Richard M. Schulze.

That includes new management by Salamander Hotels and Resorts, a new short course called Avalon, and a transformed Greg Norman golf course.
