The Best Swim-Up Rooms in Punta Cana

It’s a pretty sure bet that you’re not going to find a resort in the Caribbean that doesn’t either have a beach or a pool (or both). Resorts that have rooms where you can step outside your door and right into some cool, clear water are a little more of a rarity. But that’s starting to change as more and more hotels respond to growing demand for “swim-up rooms.”

And while some elite-level suites and resorts have their own private plunge pools, “swim-out” (or “swim up”) rooms are becoming increasingly ubiquitous, particularly at all-inclusive resorts.

It’s no surprise, then, that the Caribbean’s most popular all-inclusive destination, Punta Cana, is full of them. So when you’re looking for a Dominican Republic resort with the added level of luxury, convenience and cooling pleasure, take note of our favorite swim-out accommodations in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic (and surrounding neighborhoods in Greater Punta Cana).

TRS Cap Cana An adults-only resort known for its Bali-style beach club, the TRS Cap Cana is part of the Palladium Hotels group and newly affiliated with Wyndham’s Registry Collection. The all-inclusive package is wrapped around accommodations like Swim Up Poolside Junior Suites, which open onto either a freeform or geometric swimming pool.
