Aztec Airways is launching a pair of new routes in November, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The carrier is set to add scheduled flights service to both Chub Cay and Great Harbour Cay in The Bahamas.

The new service for both routes will launch on Nov. 14, with two flights each week to both destinations.

The Great Harbour Cay service is notable, coinciding with the imminent opening of the island’s highly-anticipated new airport. (That airport is set for completion by the end of this year).

Chub Cay is a popular private-island resort and members’ club.

It will mean that travelers can now fly nonstop from Florida to Great Harbour on two different airlines: Aztec Airways and Tropic Ocean Airways, which has long served Great Harbour Cay with regularly-scheduled service.
