Dominica’s new eco-luxe resort is holding its grand opening this month.
The new Coulibri Ridge, which has been in a soft opening at the beginning of this year, has 14 suites on a massive 285-acre property in southern Dominica.
The hotel will “officially” launch on Oct. 22, a spokesperson for the property told Caribbean Journal.
The hotel is the brainchild of Quebec-born entrepreneur Daniel Langlois, and it’s completely off the grid, with a solar plant supplemented by wind turbines.
Amenities include a pair of large infinity pools, a gym, a yoga pavilion, spa facilities and two “dining rooms.”
It adds to a growing luxury portfolio in Dominica anchored by Secret Bay, Fort Young and the Kempinski in Dominica.
