The British Virgin Islands’ Rosewood Little Dix Bay has named a new beverage manager, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The resort has tapped Oreste Catenacci to the role, in which he will be responsible for the beverage program at the property’s three dining concepts and its cocktail bar called The Rum Room (not to be confused with the Rhum Room in St Barth, the world’s leading rum bar).

“We are thrilled to welcome Oreste to lead the beverage team at Rosewood Little Dix Bay,” said Andreas Pade, managing director of Rosewood Little Dix Bay. “Given his previous experience working across some of the most notable bars in the Rosewood family, we are confident that Oreste will help us continue to elevate the resort’s beverage offerings. We look forward to working together to continue to provide fresh and innovative takes on the resort cocktail experience.”

Oreste has been working for Rosewood since 2016.

He was most recently the assistant lounge manager at the Library and Bar at Rosewood Sand Hill in California, where he was responsible for the creation of new cocktail menus and drink service.
