New Marriott All-Inclusive in Cancun Plans December Debut

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - July 1, 2022

Marriott’s newest all-inclusive resort in Cancun is targeting a Dec. 20 debut, Caribbean Journal has learned.

Blue Diamond’s new Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun will open its doors Dec. 20, 2022, part of Marriott’s growing All-Inclusive by Marriott portfolio.

The 1,049-suite resort will have a broad slate of amenities, anchored by a large water park including 14 water slides and two lazy rivers.

It’s set in the increasingly hot area of Riviera Cancun, which has seen continued development in the last years, particularly during the pandemic.

The resort will be set across two different sections: a general resort area and a Diamond Club.

The latter will provide butler service, a private oceanfront lounge and an exclusive beach area.

Amenities will include 12 restaurants and nine bars, along with two theaters and a laser tag center, among others.

“We are very proud to welcome our guests to experience the signature touches and standards they’ve come to expect from our world-class brand,” said Jordi Pelfort, President, Hotels and Resorts of Sunwing Travel Group. “Our newest resort is the culmination of a decade of success offering top rated all-inclusive getaways. It has meticulously been planned and built from the ground up so that we can ensure the utmost quality and provide a truly luxurious guest experience.”
