Dominican Republic’s St Regis Cap Cana Residences Top $40M in Sales

By: Caribbean Journal Staff

The Caribbean’s hottest new real estate project has topped $40 million in sales in its first month on the market, Caribbean Journal Invest has learned.

The Residences at the St Regis Cap Cana, set in the most exclusive community in the Dominican Republic, is projected to open by the end of 2023.

Waypoint Real Estate is leading the sales and marketing on the project, joined by Campagna Ricart’s sales and marketing division.

It’s the first-ever St Regis in the Caribbean region.

“The Dominican Republic has not seen a real estate project of this caliber, and our immediate success shows that there is a huge demand for luxury branded residences in the destination,” said Myles Newell, Principal of Waypoint Resort Real Estate.

Newell is handling sales and marketing alongside the developer’s team led by Sophia Yeara.

“With great airlift from many international locations and the return of tourism to pre-pandemic levels in the destination, we expect the real estate market to stay hot in the Dominican Republic and continue to drive high demand to the St. Regis property,” Newell said.

The project, developed by Campagna Ricart and Associates and Pioneer Investment Funds, was designed by AC Arquitectos & Asociados and brought to life by Chapi Chapo Design and AG Interiors.

It’s set on a 17-accre site with access to 800 feet of beachfront, along with one of the top golf courses in the Caribbean: the Jack Nicklaus-designed Punta Espada Golf Club.

The full inventory of residences includes 47 beachfront homes, 15 golf terrace residences, six Astor Residences and two penthouses.

Construction began last year.

“We have already seen an incredible momentum of buyers in just our first month on the market with sales success exceeding our expectations,” said Dino Campagna, President of Campagna Ricart and Associates. “This not only speaks to the strength of the real estate market in the Dominican Republic, but also the appeal of the St. Regis brand, which our buyers trust will deliver a five-star experience along with world-class amenities.”
