“Strong” Outlook for Bonaire Tourism

The Dutch Caribbean island of Bonaire is projecting a strong 2022, according to new data fro Tourism Corporation Bonaire. 

The island’s top tourism organization is reporting a “strong increase” in bookings in the first six months of this year. 

And for the May-July period, TCB says it has a “positive” outlook, projecting tourism numbers 76.7 percent higher than the same period in 2021. 

Main outlook growth is registered from markets like Canada, Belgium, Germany, the United States and the Netherlands. 

The outlook is based on actual airline tickets booked to Bonaire, according to TCB. 

The positive news comes ahead fo the island’s most exciting new event in years, Bonaire Rum Week, a gastronomic and spirits festival running from June 14-17.
