Oceania Has a New Cruise Option for Solo Travelers

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - March 31, 2022

It’s not always easy to take a cruise by yourself.

But now premium cruise line Oceania Cruises has announced a push aimed at solo travelers.

The company says it is adding dozens of new staterooms for solo travelers on each of four ships in its fleet.

That included 14 Solo Oceanview Staterooms, which debut on the company’s Regatta, Nautical, Insignia and Sirena ships in late September and early October.

That comes after Oceania added solo staterooms on its Vista ship earlier this year, rooms that sold out.

“One of the greatest factors in Oceania Cruises’ success is that we not only listen to the feedback our guests and travel partners provide, we act on it. Our guests and travel partners wanted more options for solo travelers and more diverse tour offerings, and we are delighted to deliver,” said Howard Sherman, President and CEO of Oceania Cruises.

The solo rooms are located on Deck 6 of each ship, including amenities like refrigerated mini bars, seating areas and Tranquility Beds.

“These new single-occupancy staterooms are ideal for guests seeking the joy of traveling solo while experiencing all the comfort, cuisine, and destination expertise that Oceania Cruises is renowned for,” Sherman said.
