Bahamas Ferries has opened a brand-new terminal in Abaco.
The $20 million terminal is the result of a partnership with Baker’s Bay and other local stakeholders, according to a statement from the government.
The ferry is being called a “signal of hope and renewal” in Abaco, just over two years after Hurricane Dorian.
Bahamas Ferries operates service across the islands of The Bahamas, including Grand Bahama, Nassau, Eleuthera and Exuma.
The new service agreement will transport members, employees and staff of Baker’s Bay Golf and Ocean Club between Marsh Harbour and Great Guana Cay.
