By: Caribbean Journal Staff - February 16, 2022

Grenada is home to a diverse hotel and accommodations product, from villas to authentic boutique hotels.

And now the island’s Tourism Authority is looking to highlight these kinds of properties, with a new program called “Simple Stays Grenada.”

The portfolio consists of 16 properties across Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique, with a mix of “affordable accommodations so travelers on any budget can experience an intimate and quality Caribbean escape,” according to the Grenada Tourism Authority.

“Grenada’s wide variety of boutique hotel and villa options is a distinguishing factor in the destination’s visitor appeal,” said Petra Roach, CEO, Grenada Tourism Authority. “The goal of this project is to showcase these properties and their special appeal and support them in our  our overall pandemic recovery.”

The properties range from John’s Unique Resort in Carriacou to Mt Edgecombe, a luxury boutique hotel set on a working plantation on the western coast fo Grenada; to the tiny Bogles Round House, a mix of three cottages set 60 feet from the water.
