New Amenities Coming to Dominica’s Secret Bay

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - February 2, 2022

Dominica’s renowned Secret Bay villa resort is adding several major new amenities, Caribbean Journal has learned.

That includes a new “welcome house” hub for the resort, along with a new lap pool and bar and an additional lounge at the resort’s Zing Zing eatery.

The Welcome House includes a porte-cochere for “seamless entry” and a fleet of electric vehicles to transport guests to their villas.

Secret Bay says it will continue to have a “no front desk” concept, however, letting guest check in and out directly from their villa.

The new pool has a cantilevered deck and a full-service bar built out of Guyanese Greenheart wood.

The new Zing Zing Lounge features “specialty curated cocktails by expert mixologists paired with authentic Dominican bites.”

“Secret Bay is continually evolving to meet the needs of our guests and stand out as a superior resort experience,” said Dinesh Kissoon, General Manager of Secret Bay. “We’re thrilled to bring these new experiences to Secret Bay and continue to raise the bar for excellent hospitality.”
